With nearly 25,000 books to choose from, the library is the perfect place to read, study, research and relax. There are dedicated sections for Primary and Secondary students, including a Primary reading room, reading circle, study zone, soft seating, and tables to work from. Primary students enjoy a weekly visit with their classroom and Secondary classes book a zone for reading or study. The BC library is open daily from 7.30 am - 4.00 pm. All students are welcome to visit at morning tea and lunchtime. Two librarians assist students throughout the day, as well as student librarians. Once enrolled, students also have access to BC’s online library catalogue and e-book collection. 

Digital Learning

The focus of digital learning at BC is for devices to be used as a tool to increase student engagement and cater to specific learning styles. Responsible use of devices at school is encouraged and monitored. In Years 0-5 classrooms have in-class iPads, Years 6-9 bring their own iPad and Years 10-13 bring their own device.
