Bethlehem College PTA
The PTA (Parent Teachers Association) is a group of enthusiastic parents and teacher representatives, united in encouraging community while fundraising for the school. We support, and help to raise funds, for various projects which benefit BC and its students – from the primary playground and equipment, to supporting the older pupils in IT initiatives and programmes like Strength Finders and everything in between! It is a great way to be involved in the school, to network with other parents and teachers, and to serve your school community.
We welcome new members to help with fresh ideas and assist with planning events –so if this is something you can help with, please consider coming along to one of our meetings, even as a one-off, we would welcome your ideas. At present we are a small group of committed parents, but we need to continue to move forward and to grow in number to better serve the school. If you are interested or would like to know more about what we do, please come along to a meeting and chat to us, or contact via email [email protected] or like us on Facebook.
We meet in the function room in the school Administration block, generally on the first Wednesday evening of every month at 6pm (not incl. school holidays). Everyone is welcome to attend meetings without obligation. Look out for an invitation to the next meeting on BC Signpost the week prior to a meeting.
Once our events are planned we always need volunteers to help run them. Follow us on Facebook to keep track of upcoming events and for ways in which you can help out.
We would love to see you at our meetings.
