Office Administrator - Secondary School (Reception & Relief) - Permanent, Part-time

Applications are open for a permanent, part-time Secondary School Office Administrator (Reception and Relief) at our Bethlehem, Tauranga campus. The role is exciting with a lot of variety. In addition to your core responsibilities, you will learn new skills to be able to provide relief cover for other positions during times of absences.

The position is part-time, 35 hours per week working from 8.00 am – 3:30 pm daily for 40 weeks per year (you will not be required to work during the school holidays). Some extra and after-hours working may be necessary on occasions to support special events.

The potential candidate will have previous administration and reception experience and be willing to deliver exceptional administration service to the College. 

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, grade B.

  • Previous experience with KAMAR student management system would be an advantage

Position Description

Teacher Aide, Secondary School - Fixed Term, Part-time

A Fixed-term, part-time position has become available at our Tauranga campus, for a Teacher Aide.  The successful candidate will join our team of teacher aides working in our Secondary School, Y7-13, in an inclusion focused school.   The positions are for between 18 and 24 hours per week, providing in-class support.  Flexibility is required to meet the changing needs of the students and the Learning Support team.  Additional hours and positions may be available on a casual basis.

The pay scale for this position is in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, Grade B.  The role is paid during the school year, term time only plus holiday pay.

  • Fixed Term position from 25 July to 4 November 2022
  • Part-time 18 to 24 hours per week – term time only
  • Commitment to the Christian character of the College is essential
  • Good interpersonal skills with a friendly yet professional manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow the directions of the classroom teacher
  • Duties may involve some personal care of students. The successful person may work across a variety of situations
