The position of Administrator/Receptionist has become available in the Primary School office in Tauranga.

This is a Part-time position – 8am – 4.00pm (37.5 hours per week), 40.6 weeks per year

The Remuneration will be in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, Grade B and will be dependent on qualifications and experience. 

This role is a front line reception and secretarial/admin support which also includes provision of general First Aid.  A sound level of IT and administrative skill, an ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure, and a desire to serve students, parents and staff is vital to being successful in this role.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to the Christian Character of the College – this is essential
  • A professional and friendly manner
  • Competent First Aid responder
  • Competent computer skills, experience and knowledge of MS suite of programs (knowledge of Office 365 and Kamar SMS would be advantageous)
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a busy environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Calm under pressure and can go the extra mile
  • Must be teachable, efficient and effective
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
