DEL MILLER
Director

Oversight of the International Department and Administration 

Del provides leadership to the team of international staff, while providing support to parents and agents.  She is responsible for the international students at Bethlehem College, the enrolment process, marketing, and she ensures the Code of Practice requirements are adhered to.    It is Del's desire to provide the best possible learning environment and education, to our international students.

LORETTA MCCREADY
Homestay Co-ordinator

Overseeing needs and requirements of student accommodation placement and liaison to host families.

Loretta has the job of overseeing the needs and requirements of our international students within their host family.  This is a very important service which the school provides.  Loretta interviews each family to ensure that each student placed within their care, will enjoy the experience of living in New Zealand and places students in families that will look after the student as though they were their own.

NGAIRE REIMERS
Student Services Co-ordinator

Student banking requirements and account services, health needs, travel arrangements and insurance claims.

Ngaire has worked in the International Department for 15+ years and plays a very integral part of our team.  She arranges student travel, helps students with their banking requirements, arranges doctor, dentist and optometrist appointments, arranges insurance and assists with claims.  Ngaire also offers support with the pastoral care of our students.

ESTHER BLEARS
Academic Dean

ESOL and IELTS teacher

Esther organises and monitors the students' academic programmes.  She is our main ESOL teacher for Years 11-13.  She prepares our students for University Entrance and also has extra tuition classes for those students wishing to sit IELTS.  Esther is also a qualified IELTS examiner.

JAN DEAN
Pastoral Dean

ESOL and English teacher

Jan oversees the pastoral care of our students, ensuring that they are settled and safe while at school.  She brings with her a wealth of wisdom having spent 14 years teaching in, and leading, the Bethlehem College English Department.  Jan has also worked with a missionary organisation and during this time has worked and taught in 8 different countries. 

KAYE MILLER
Teacher

ESOL teacher and tutor

Kaye moved in NZ from South Africa, bringing another culutral diversity to our team.  She has been teaching our younger international students, according to the ELLP (English Language Learning Progression) system.  Kaye also teaches our short term Tour Groups, and mainstream subjects such as Early Childhood and Home Economics.
